Tirana appears on the UK press radar

The recent launch of flights from London to Tirana seems to have awoken British travel journalists to the existence of Albania. In the last week both The Observer and The Times have published articles about the country.

And there was that awful stitch up by AA Gill for the Sunday Times a few weeks back that caused such a stink.

No country deserves that kind treatment. Of course its possible to bring up bad points but to just slag on a destination from start to finish...
